Die Kooperation The Leading Hotels of the World hat seit Anfang des Jahres sieben neue Mitglieder. In Europa sind das Hotel Lido Palace am Gardasee und das Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera in Kroatien hinzugekommen. Aus Japan hat sich das Palace Hotel Tokyo angeschlossen, aus Katar The Torch-Doha, aus der Dominikanischen Republik das Eden Roc at Cap Cana und aus Florida das Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach. Außerdem neu im Bunde ist die Produktsparte Orient-Express Safaris. Zu dieser gehören drei Lodges in Botswana.
